Living across the river from Manhattan, I felt like keeping an eye on the city during September 11. That quick look over there, once in a while, just to make sure everything was fine. In the evening, we headed to the Hoboken Italian Festival and it was packed with people and good food. And yet beyond the sound of music and fun there it was, in the background, the proof that the towers were missing and with them all the people not present anymore.
